A great modern finish to a colourful quilt.<br /></span><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl6PqfS4DI6EU2FD_1S6FryNDwGBtEKzIkhYw3bkYMT9FFTgYOyOJ3-7ZHSRMZOMlvmXuuaYJ6NM4Bs721J-w_SXGiEvotTN85DowcTdD3QEEYV_S9wQDpqP-0q_stI_2t-lTwoUBQG-rJTqAI87N1QntK5c9lptt3S0GuwlbsplxUY89yUVMPGWOKMvoJ/s2407/batik-circle-quilt.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img alt="Sheila's Batik Star Quilt" border="0" data-original-height="2407" data-original-width="2389" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl6PqfS4DI6EU2FD_1S6FryNDwGBtEKzIkhYw3bkYMT9FFTgYOyOJ3-7ZHSRMZOMlvmXuuaYJ6NM4Bs721J-w_SXGiEvotTN85DowcTdD3QEEYV_S9wQDpqP-0q_stI_2t-lTwoUBQG-rJTqAI87N1QntK5c9lptt3S0GuwlbsplxUY89yUVMPGWOKMvoJ/w398-h400/batik-circle-quilt.jpg" title="Sheila's Batik Star Quilt" width="398" /></span></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Sheila's Batik Star Quilt</span></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /><br /></span><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn8Gojn8YEyt2FRHQl4IVUoKEuhrwFntTzRbeY72Vd5I07bG3Oih6ryc9K0QPwHc7UeNed1x3AFmdAfS4pzsCutWSOwQgml83IZbBkdHXmdMUOMdIRoE5e9474IvtZ1wnnKxO-TxikLci8ZJQbiP1mJroUpvG2LPTEstjCdXTuyR9fcxNvOYqyjbmYgO9d/s2125/Cosmos-Keryn-Emmerson.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2116" data-original-width="2125" height="399" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn8Gojn8YEyt2FRHQl4IVUoKEuhrwFntTzRbeY72Vd5I07bG3Oih6ryc9K0QPwHc7UeNed1x3AFmdAfS4pzsCutWSOwQgml83IZbBkdHXmdMUOMdIRoE5e9474IvtZ1wnnKxO-TxikLci8ZJQbiP1mJroUpvG2LPTEstjCdXTuyR9fcxNvOYqyjbmYgO9d/w400-h399/Cosmos-Keryn-Emmerson.jpg" width="400" /></span></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial;">'Cosmos' by Keryn Emmerson</span></td></tr></tbody></table><br />Frances Meredithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04104930796940716484noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8073931387640299281.post-41698269251862373732024-01-23T22:00:00.000-08:002024-01-23T22:00:00.142-08:00Lesley's Pink Baby Quilt, quilted at Fabadashery Longarm Quilting<p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHliod01fUnlDVKW2X35KWOvdGiioYcjig97fnA7ditwYZhQWr0ebMCNWTQSxB03QYsD2Wy8IcQeqSSytRbpvPPNRglx8PIqat2_KH2f4BJ3Ok7svVUCz_bcAFWmIv6Z3fUI-B32gtvJg3x1phln7dyurDZOXaVaDOZjlKhfQWfYtrocS3r4cwwg8us9cT/s3264/pretty-baby-quilt.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img alt="Lesley's Pink Baby Quilt" border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHliod01fUnlDVKW2X35KWOvdGiioYcjig97fnA7ditwYZhQWr0ebMCNWTQSxB03QYsD2Wy8IcQeqSSytRbpvPPNRglx8PIqat2_KH2f4BJ3Ok7svVUCz_bcAFWmIv6Z3fUI-B32gtvJg3x1phln7dyurDZOXaVaDOZjlKhfQWfYtrocS3r4cwwg8us9cT/w400-h300/pretty-baby-quilt.jpg" title="Lesley's Pink Baby Quilt" width="400" /></span></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Lesley's Pink Baby Quilt</span></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: arial;">Lesley had to make a quick baby quilt and reaching into her fabric stash, she was able to pull out these lovely fabrics and make this delightful quilt. Today I am sharing a quilt which Gill made for a young family friend as a surprise. Gill had asked for a 'mood board' of their favourite things, so that she could personalise the quilt. It included a black kitten, pink things, capabaras and other things. Gill was up for a challenge and managed to pull all these elements into one quilt (using the front and the back). Gill sourced a design of a capabara and printed it onto fabric and blended it seamlessly into the whole quilt. Having spotted it on my website, Liz knew exactly which quilting pattern she wanted - Spools of Threads, designed by <a href="http://www.annebrightdesigns.com">Anne Bright</a>.<br /></span><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6f9ud7kWoJdTcHBtK-vo1i255nSy0VT7lso8NSoZVWmWtYgtyzrSzreiDzGH5h5rUbeiiSELV6aotgYYKugvxVZiPCB4glh3f2fcEVzjIMvepzlmU9QTV97G_eh5KDmcJHS6YkexdfLlhz57ns08TPekWGtE-9pH_ep6hOX03YhGMGva9dZlRXbNNBS4I/s3264/Spools-of-thread.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img alt="'Spools of Threads' digital pattern by Anne Bright" border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6f9ud7kWoJdTcHBtK-vo1i255nSy0VT7lso8NSoZVWmWtYgtyzrSzreiDzGH5h5rUbeiiSELV6aotgYYKugvxVZiPCB4glh3f2fcEVzjIMvepzlmU9QTV97G_eh5KDmcJHS6YkexdfLlhz57ns08TPekWGtE-9pH_ep6hOX03YhGMGva9dZlRXbNNBS4I/w400-h300/Spools-of-thread.jpg" title="'Spools of Threads' digital pattern by Anne Bright" width="400" /></span></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial;">'Spools of Threads' digital pattern by Anne Bright</span></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA0lSK3NEgCGk8nQT_Su8Wlg4VsCk1Qp97Sx4FFBS9QWiY7DL0FnNyO6OHYhZsRKmmdTK4UP45MoWXCyrWvX4T0QCJ1VpDkW-NMSdxVjqqlnyCBdeZ4iEgBtvM6e07CrfX-aUpDD7Lx93eLvgPXsi_BwvZC0NBbvegIqLb9VQ4SlkwVtB4zr7Y-RFgMI2l/s1024/Spools%20of%20Thread%20B2B.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img alt="'Spools of Threads' digital pattern by Anne Bright" border="0" data-original-height="854" data-original-width="1024" height="334" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA0lSK3NEgCGk8nQT_Su8Wlg4VsCk1Qp97Sx4FFBS9QWiY7DL0FnNyO6OHYhZsRKmmdTK4UP45MoWXCyrWvX4T0QCJ1VpDkW-NMSdxVjqqlnyCBdeZ4iEgBtvM6e07CrfX-aUpDD7Lx93eLvgPXsi_BwvZC0NBbvegIqLb9VQ4SlkwVtB4zr7Y-RFgMI2l/w400-h334/Spools%20of%20Thread%20B2B.jpg" title="'Spools of Threads' digital pattern by Anne Bright" width="400" /></span></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial;">'Spools of Threads' digital pattern by Anne Bright</span></td></tr></tbody></table><br />Frances Meredithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04104930796940716484noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8073931387640299281.post-8913842238748199682023-12-24T22:00:00.000-08:002023-12-25T01:20:36.342-08:00Happy Christmas - Day 1 Fabadashery Twelve Days of Christmas<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXWxD6GhJWXdgGK8nidtDMjZodDm-KFFOKjc5zT16_mkzIO3x_6fKrTwHgl1gJvKvIpcMoVqQKZiwGARNS3XP6byeT4nN5F-gzvvU6A-7hhn818yaCmjs3SZ9TBm4NhVRjxYQIHabEyNhp8O0W2bNBqbOY18dexCpATLKr5ztZklDbfdfa2psBU_xgH6NJ/s1886/Baby-jesus-quilt.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1860" data-original-width="1886" height="395" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXWxD6GhJWXdgGK8nidtDMjZodDm-KFFOKjc5zT16_mkzIO3x_6fKrTwHgl1gJvKvIpcMoVqQKZiwGARNS3XP6byeT4nN5F-gzvvU6A-7hhn818yaCmjs3SZ9TBm4NhVRjxYQIHabEyNhp8O0W2bNBqbOY18dexCpATLKr5ztZklDbfdfa2psBU_xgH6NJ/w400-h395/Baby-jesus-quilt.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br />Happy Christmas! Thank you.</span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">The quilt block featured today has been made by one of the community members of St Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgwater. Throughout the year they have been learning patchwork and creating blocks taken from 'The Bible Sampler Quilt' by Laurie A Hird.
