Fabadashery Drop-Off dates March 2022

Thank you to everyone who dropped off their quilts in February, I hope you have managed to use the bad weather to get your bindings done!  Yes, since last month quilts have been longarm quilted and finished  - this could be you!  February always seems to end in an abrupt fashion, so here are the drop-off dates for March and don't forget that I accept quilts by post.

'The Grape Thieves' quilt (Designed by Fi Bowman) made by Annie

Annie brought me this masterpiece for quilting which features both piecing and applique.  The design is called 'The Grape Thieves' and was designed by Fi Bowman for an edition of Today's Quilter magazine.  It features William Morris fabrics and Annie also managed to source some extra wide William Morris fabric for the back.

For the quilting pattern, Annie chose 'Indian Summer' designed by Patricia Ritter at Urban Elementz. It feature acorns and leaves and is reminiscent of the Autumn.  With the white space and autumnal colours of the William Morris fabric, the pattern worked really well.
