I always have a lot of Kaffe Fassett quilts through the door, but nowadays, there are an increasing amount of Tula Pink fabric quilts.  This is one made by Viv, which features Zebras, Panda which is from Tula Pink's Linework range.

For the quilting pattern, Viv chose a lovely swirl with stars, 'Nightlight' by Patricia Ritter and Marybeth O'Halloran.

I am always on the look out for quilts which will eat up scraps and Pat brought along this lovely quilt, which does just that. Adding a bit of colour to two corners of a neutral block and she has created this lovely quilt.

I also love it because Pat chose this new quilting pattern which I have added to my library called 'Spools of Thread' designed by Anne Bright.  This is a great pattern, not too dense and a quilter friendly design - I think this one may be a new favourite amongst my longarm quilting customers.

Emersons Green Quilters Talk

Last night I was out and about at Emersons Green Quilters in Bristol presenting my talk 'My Quilting Journey'.  I realised that it is the first talk I have done since 2019, so there was quite a lot to catch up on.  Here you can see me with my Pies and Tarts quilt and my Dear Jane quilt in the background.

I always love the freshness of a red, white and blue quilt and Karen's Churn Dash produced just that.  It was finished off with a pretty quilting pattern called 'Cherry Blossom' designed by Irene Steele.
