Directions from Gloucester: Get onto the A48 and head to Chepstow / South Wales. Keep on this road. When you are near you will see the National Diving and Activity Centre on your right and one mile down the road you will need to get ready to turn left towards Sedbury / Tutshill/ Beachley Barracks. Once turned right you will meet a rbt. Turn right towards Tutshill. As you drive over the bridge you will see houses set back with a grass verge on the right. We are the last one (Wyvern) with a camper van in the drive, down the road from St John’s on the Hill school. I am on the England side of Chepstow in Tutshill, so if you have gone over a bridge and have Tescos on your left, you have gone too far. Directions from Newport or Severn Bridge: Head to Chepstow and get onto the A48. Keep on this road. You will drive downhill to traffic lights and Tesco on your right. Continue straight ahead. You will go over a bridge and you will see a sign, Welcome to England. You will then go under a bridge, which eventually you will be driving on top of. Signal right and get ready to turn right towards Sedbury / Tutshill. Once turned right you will meet a rbt. Turn right towards Tutshill. As you drive over the bridge you just drove under you will see houses set back with a grass verge on the right. We are the last one (Wyvern) with a camper van in the drive. The bridge is now FREE!

Many of my customers this year have been proud to say that they made their quilt 'completely from their stash!'  I believe this is one such quilt, a stunning Trip Around the World quilt made by Camilla.  I love the amazing mix of colours and the quilt pattern we chose was Modern Curves by Anita Shackleford.

This quilt is known as the Rosa Biddlecombe quilt, designed by Margaret Mew.  Jenny has made a lovely job of this and tempted me to add this to my quilt bucket list.

For the quilting pattern we chose 'Squirts' designed by Anne Bright.  Despite its name it is a very elegant quilt pattern, which is great for quilts which have detail such as the bouquet appliqued at the centre of the medallion quilt.  Also, Jenny chose HOBBS 100% Wool, which I usually have available to buy, for the wadding, which has made it a beautifully light quilt.

Here is another baby quilt Fabadashery Longarm Quilting has done lately, featuring a baby elephant and its Mum.  The 'Mommy and Me' design is by Colette Belt and Maisie has made this using some of her favourite green fabrics. Popcorn by Willow Leaf Studio gave this little quilt a great finish.
