September 2023 - Drop Off Dates Fabadashery Longarm Quilting

Thank you to everyone who brought their quilts in August. The current turnaround at Fabadashery Longarm Quilting is a fortnight. Here are the dates for dropping off your quilt in September, including a Saturday. I have plenty of wadding available and you can find all the details about preparing your quilt here. Don't forget at label for your quilt!

Quilt labels

I have spent the last few days refreshing my quilt label samples for my longarm quilting customers to view. If you are making a special quilt, it probably needs a label. If you would like an embroidered label for your quilt, bring along an additional A4 piece of fabric and the words you require. £10 each.

Natalie's 'I Love Shibori' Quilt

Yesterday, I popped up to the 2023 Festival of Quilts at the NEC Birmingham. For many years I have entered quilts in this show, but nothing was quite ready for this year. However, one of my customers, Natalie, entered her 'I Love Shibori' quilt in the Two Person Category (TP37). I love the use of the salmon pink against the blue indigo fabrics. The longarm quilting pattern was the ever popular 'Dragon Wings' by Apricot Moon.
