Di's 'Hot Steps' Kaffe fassett Collective Quilt

Day 2 of the Fabadashery Advent Quilt Show and here is a fabulous Hot Steps quilt made by Di.  I took this photo outside in the last of the October sunshine - doesn't it look great!  I have quilted many quilts for Di and I think all of them have be made from Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics, but somehow this quilt made up of just squares is my favourite.

Here is a photo of her quilt lying on my longarm quilting machine, with the sun showing the quilting at its best.  With the bright and busy fabrics, the quilting will always 'play second fiddle' to the fabrics, but this quilt pattern 'Circle of Life' works really well.
