Today I am sharing Alyson's 'Sparrows Quilt', a Pen and Paper Patterns quilt design, which has rows of cute birds all over it.  Alyson used a Moda Grunge blue background and some peachy orange Grunge tails for her birds.  A simple, but very effective pattern.

For the quilting pattern, Alyson chose 'Squirts' designed by Anne Bright, a swirly pattern which on this occasion gives the impression of twigs and branches.
