Bonnie Hunter's 'Good Fortune' 2018 Mystery Quilt, made by Eirwen, quilted by Frances Meredith at Fabadashery

Bonnie Hunter's 'Good Fortune' 2018 Mystery Quilt,
made by Eirwen, quilted by Frances Meredith at Fabadashery
In the past I have managed to take part in several of Bonnie Hunter's annual Mystery Quilts.  You won't see one from me this year, but Eirwen has completed her 2018 'Good Fortune' Mystery quilt and did a great job at using up her scraps at the same time.

using Celery Glide thread
Trying to find a thread colour which will look good with red, orange, blue, green and cream is a tricky decision.  As I have built up my experience, I have found that green threads tend to blend well with many colours and are great on a scrappy quilt.  On this occasion I used Celery Glide thread.  I understand that the quilting pattern Bonnie Hunter used on her Good Fortune Mystery quilt was 'Arcadia', which is the pattern we used also, which you can see below.

I don't think this will be the last 'Good Fortune' quilt I will be quilting.
