Marie's Elephant Quilt,

I have a special quilt to show you today - Marie's Elephant Quilt which she has made for her teenage grand-daughter, who is elephant mad. I have shown you a close up of Marie's quilt first, so that you can see the sashing fabric, which features little elephants. Then to personalise it even further, Marie appliqued elephants walking around the border, joined together with some of the fancy stitches on her sewing machine. I really love quilts which have been personalised for the receiver - they are original and special. My job was to longarm quilt it to turn it into a quilt. |
