June's Scrappy Broken Dishes Quilt

Sometimes it is the simplest quilts which are most effective.  June has pulled out her scraps and made a collection of half square triangle blocks to make a Broken Dishes quilt.  She has used some old and new fabrics, but with this pattern, they all blend beautifully.

With a busy quilt top the quilting pattern wasn't going to be the main player, but Ginger Hearts is a simple and effective quilting pattern in my library which works well on a range of quilts.
