Do you have guests coming around over the festive period?  This is the time to pull out all those Christmas quilts and table decorations, like this special Christmas table runner made by Kim at The Patchwork Shop in Ross On Wye.  It was part of a Christmas workshop held at the shop in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire.

I quilted this small project using a festive star digital quilting pattern called Ginger Star by Apricot Moon.  The wadding is Sew Simple Insulated Wadding, which is foil lined which makes it ideal for table runner, table mats, oven gloves and even cool bags.  This specialised wadding worked just fine under the needle of my APQS Millie longarm quilting machine.  Do you have some of this wadding in your cupboard - why not pull it out for a festive runner like this one.
