Margaret has great ideas and vision, and between us we can usually come up with something that we are both pleased with. This time it was a rugby quilt for her grandson - who loves rugby.

The internet has loads of different digital quilting patterns which can be purchased and a quick look and I found this quilt pattern for a longarm quilting machine featuring rugby balls / footballs (depending on which continent you are in!) With many of my customers living in Wales, I felt it would get plenty of use in the future.

Margaret wanted to include some words and symbols on the quilt and I was able to help her out by using my Accuquilt Studio cutter and the use of a lightbox to create the imagery above. The rugby balls make great background and the reverse of the quilt had the team colours. A great sporty quilting pattern.
